| Dear Student Ministry Director, Hello from Tokyo, Japan! I hope this finds you having a nice summer. It is turning into a hot one here. I am Ronny Cooksey, Southern Baptist church planter in Tokyo, Japan. My wife, 5 (soon to be 6) kids and I have been in Japan for 8 years. We have recently moved to Tokyo. We are doing evangelism, discipleship and house church / small group church planting. One of the groups we are most excited about is students. We want to reach students for Christ, disciple and train them, and get behind them to see them reproducing themselves and starting small group churches. As in the USA, the student is the most responsive to the Gospel. Can you help us as we help you? Could you let us know when you know of Japanese students coming back to the Tokyo area? It can be very difficult for Japanese students to return to Japan. We would love to come along side of them and get involved in their lives as we give them an outlet to serve the Lord strategically in their own land.
